I wonder if they still would have attack had they known that the ruler of Tempest was the one who actually defeated the Orc Lord. Perhaps the risk would haven been too high and instead seek more diplomatic methods.

I think that may have just instigated a larger invasion force from multiple nations. As Rimuru said, if everyone knew how powerful and dangerous his nation was, no one would want to form diplomatic relations with them.

the actual problem is not just inside the Falmuth nation and their king. (BTW if you didn't know Falmuth is an ENTIRELY human nation). it's that church they're talking about. the one that archbishop in the Falmuth meeting represents. basically? they're human supremacists. plus that church is also full of zealots who wouldn't hesitate to denounce a stone that tripped them on a wilderness path as an agent of evil and declare a continent-wide crusade against ALL rocks.

also, like those 3 otherworlder humans said, humans on 'this' world are weak-sauce fodder for monsters. average everyday humans can't easily absorb magicules, even human wizards have to study and meditate inside magicule rich zones (like Veldora's caverns) to be able to absorb enough magicules to perform magic. most humans' magic manipulates the magicules in the environment, concentrating them, then casting spells. whereas monsters' bodies are PHYSICALLY made of both 'earthly flesh' and magicules.

monsters' bodies, skills, and spells evolved alongside the magicules in the environment. just breathing, eating, drinking, and living allows WEAK monsters to absorb and internally store DOZENS of times the magicules a common human can. plus humans can NOT evolve through internal magicule concentration or The Naming Ceremony. humans' niche on 'this' world is only carved out using two things: mass self-defense and humping each other like mad and making tons of babies.

So the dwarves and beast men decided to ally with Tempest and the humans chose the war path. It's not going to be so easy as to just fight Tempest though. Nava might get involved. I wonder about the Dwarves though.

The Dwarves have relations with both countries so I wonder if they will chose to stay neutral in this fight. The beast men only have a nap with Tempest so they have no reason to support them in this upcoming war.
